I'm a long time gamer with a fondness for portable platforms. When I was too young to have the attention span for games, my brothers were wheedling our parents to buy them Game & Watches and Tiger LCD games from Toys R Us. Later, we would share a single Game Boy between the 4 of us. I remember when my oldest brother, a lefty, bought an Atari Lynx and showed off its backlit, color screen. And the first gaming device I ever owned individually was a cobalt Nintendo DS.
Today I play most of my games on my 3DS or my iPhone. One of my favorite iOS developers is Kairosoft. I first found out about them because of their title Game Dev Story, which garnered attention even among more traditional gamer groups. I moved on from GDS to Epic Astro Story and then their other titles.
